Jones & Sons started in 2013 as a classic British restaurant & cocktail bar, founded by Andy Jones alongside Richard Priestley & Milika Muritu of Cell Studios. Over the course of a decade, Jones & Sons has grown from a modest little restaurant on Arcola Street in Dalston into a multi-platform hospitality company comprising of our main Restaurant, a Cafe at 3 Mills Film Studios, an 8,000 sq ft Hackney events venue, 3 commercial catering trucks serving food to TV & Film sets all over the UK, and a hot box catering delivery company serving the whole of London daily.

Open for dinner Wednesday to Thursday and lunch and dinner Friday to Sunday, Jones & Sons quickly became a weekend foodie hotspot, with our famous Bottomless Brunch filling up weeks in advance. Our legendary Sunday roast has previously been featured in the Evening Standard as #7 on their list of the “Top 25 restaurants for Sunday Lunch”, and GQ put us in the top 3 in their “Sunday Lunch Guide”.

After receiving the contract for The Great British Bake Off a few years into the business, Jones & Sons has grown to be a competitive catering option for TV shows, films, photoshoots, you name it, all across London and beyond, bringing a much-desired bit of restaurant quality to the world of location catering. With a fleet of several food and coffee trucks, vans, and of course, our kitchens in our main restaurant and at 3 Mills Studios, our catering wing has massively expanded over the years and has become an integral part of the business.

In October 2016, Andy was given the opportunity to take over an amazing restaurant space on Gillett Street – an opportunity which he grabbed with both hands. Jones & Sons is now an imposing 4,000 sq ft restaurant and cocktail bar with an impressive function room serving a wonderful host of clientele from North and East London. The main restaurant features an open kitchen, an 11-metre Carrara marble bar top, and an original rosewood 1950s Poul Cadovius 'Royal System' shelving unit as the bar display.

With space for 90 covers in the main restaurant, 70 in the function room, and a further 50 in the beautiful, decked, leafy courtyard, Jones & Sons offers full table service and is a grown-up departure from the clamour of the vibrant late-night Kingsland Road institutions. Weddings and other events at Jones & Sons have become a regular occurrence, so much so that we have now gone and got ourselves our very own 8,000 sq foot Wedding Venue in Hackney. Studio Jones (formerly Dalston Heights) is the perfect venue for Weddings and private dinners alike. Boasting two huge spaces, The Factory & The Attic, Studio Jones doubles as a photographic studio on weekdays. With backgrounds aplenty, it makes the perfect space for photoshoots or an amazing location for your big day.

Jones & Sons has now been operational for over 10 years and continues to grow with each passing year, and we’re not done yet…
